A Look At The Most Expensive Swimsuits In The World

leading online shop for beach and swim wear
Bathing suits, bikinis, and tankinis are made with just small pieces of clothes. Unfortunately, they can still be one of the most expensive clothing items you can have particularly if you buy ones that come from well-known brands. There are also some swimsuits that can cost more than your house and car combined.

Mind-Blowing Expensive Swimwear

Currently, the distinction of being the most expensive swimwear belongs to a glittering $30 million bikini created by Susan Rosen with Steinmetz Diamonds. It is a bikini made only of diamonds with no fabric at all. It was worn by model Molly Sims for the centrefold of the 2006 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue. The bikini has over 150 carats of D Flawless diamonds, including a 51 carat D Flawless Pear Shape, a 30 carat D Flawless Emerald Cut, 2 15 carat D Flawless Rounds, and two 8 carat D Flawless Pear Shapes all set in platinum.

Victoria’s Secret, the world-famous lingerie brand, also has in its stable some of the most expensive swimsuits as well. One is the VS Fantasy Bra which Gisele Bundchen wore in December 2013. This lingerie piece comes with 18K white gold with over 2,900 pave set diamonds, 22 ruby gemstones, and 101 karat diamond. It is reportedly worth $12.5 million. Another expensive lingerie from their line-up is the Heavenly Star Bra which also costs $12.5 million. It features 1,200 Sri Lankan pink sapphires and a staggering 90-carat emerald-cut diamond snuggled seductively between its cups.

What You Need To Know About Wearing Makeup

When it comes to enhancing one’s beauty, one of the most popular ways is applying makeup. This is particularly true for girls. Girls just love wearing makeup even when they are at home. Indeed, it is nice to see yourself looking good all the time. And the use of makeup is such a huge advantage to achieve what you want to look like for the moment.  However, there are actually some things that you need to know about wearing makeup. Check them out below:

- Check the labels. Before you buy a particular type and brand of makeup, make sure to check the labels first. There are a lot of cosmetic products these days that contain certain ingredients which may be harmful for your skin. Some may even cause cancer.

- Take note of the expiration date. Although makeup products have long expiry date, it is still best to take note of this information before applying these cosmetic products on your face. If irritation occurs after applying makeup, wipe your face instantly and wash it with mild soap and water.

- Always take off your makeup before bedtime. Many people seem to take this for granted usually because they’re already too tired from work. Most beauty experts and even dermatologists strongly advise taking off any makeup applied before going to sleep.

Men's Suit – How It Began

Suits are considered to be the most elegant attire for men. But did you know how these pieces of clothing started?

In the late 1660's

King Charles II ordained that when in an assembly, all men should be dressed in long coats or a jacket. From then on, this became a typical wear among men. Whenever they attend social gatherings, business conference, church event, etc. they had to abide by the dress code.

Men’s suit became increasingly popular as time progressed. Even those considered less affluent in the society keep one or two suits to wear on important occasions.

By the 20th century
Men’s suits were more standardized. This is because of the launching of a ready-to-wear manufacturing industry. Since then, the production of suits became an integral part of the men's clothing industry. And for many different occasions, men were expected to appear only in suits. You are considered half-dressed if you are not dressed in full suit.

Today
The fashion industry has several suit makers in fierce competition. When shopping for suits, you can never go wrong if you are equipped with the right knowledge about them. You have to make sure that the style, design, colour and fabric are appropriate for the occasion. For men's wedding suits, you should not sacrifice style, fit, or fabric tailoring. Spend your wedding day in an uncomfortable suit or shirt is a big NO. So pick a suit perfect to your body measurement.

Psychology and Dressing For Success

more info here
Is it really possible to dress for success? Psychology says, yes. There is a concept quickly gaining popularity in the field of Sociology and Psychology called “enclothed cognition.” What this concept simply offers is that we experience certain mental processes when we wear certain clothing. This has been the subject of one study published in The Journal of Experimental Social Psychology which found that we are not confined with the use of our brains when we think. According to the study, we also think using our bodies and when we process our thoughts, we based it on our physical experiences that allow abstract concept association to get going. This, according to recent studies, includes the way we dress.

In other words, what the studies are telling us is that what we feel affect how we are dressed and how we are dressed affect how we feel. Consider, for instance, when you are feeling depressed and you decided to dress up and go have fun. As soon as you “dress up,” you start to feel lighter and less sad. As soon as you feel like you are wearing something fun, you begin to feel like having fun and your mood gradually changes. It is the same thing with success. When you wear clothes that make you feel successful or good, your emotions, moods, and outlook conform to how you are dressed. Hence, a lot of successful people are always well-dress, except for a few certain exceptions in the technological industry.

Red Hair Dye: From Boring To Exciting

http://readtriviaonline.blogspot.com/
Hair color has been around as early as the 3400 B.C. when the Egyptians began using henna to darken their graying hair. Today, hair colors are now bolder and more vibrant with people trying on more unusual hair colors such as green and blue. There is, nonetheless, a certain preference to red hair color in relation to something that's going on in a person's life or in relation to a person's personality.

Studies have shown that people donning red crowns are more self-confident than their blonde and brunette counterparts. This is associated with the observation that the color red represents fire and passion. Changing one's hair color to red does not, however, change one's personality but the belief with regard to the color red boosting confidence does increase one's self-esteem.

Other people's perception to the color red also helps since many people treat such color as one representing intensity, energy, vigor, spirit, and enthusiasm. Hence, when a person has a more subdued personality, having red hair color can help in changing people's perspective about her. For instance, a person perceived by others as having a boring and uninteresting personality can change her hair color to red and it can instantly help changing people's impression about her from being boring to being fiery.
