Basic Smartphone Repair Tips



The most common solution that most people do whenever their smartphones gets broken or damaged is take them to a repair shop or buy a new one. They never really attempt to figure out by themselves the cause of the problem and if they can actually fix it on their own. Although this may also lead to a more serious damage and is usually not advisable, there are some cases when you can actually do the repair yourself. Here are some simple cases of a broken or damaged smartphone and what you can do about it.

- Phone won’t turn on. In this case, there may be several different reasons but the first thing that you should do is take the battery off and reinstall it then charge it for about 30 minutes before turning it back on. In most cases, phones are just really drained so it does not instantly turn on because it does not have enough power.

- Overheating. This is very common for smartphones. To fix this, you have to simply reduce your time using the phone for games. You can also disable some functions when not in use.

- Headset not working. In most cases, this is actually due to a damaged headset. You can replace it and try again. If it is still not working, clean the headphone jack. Clear it from dust as it is the most common reason why your audio is no longer as clear as what it used to be.
