The Origin Of The Word “Emcee”
Have you ever wondered why the word “emcee” exists when it should have been MC which is short for Master of Ceremonies? This word was actually known and used in 1930’s. People need a real-word reference for the word and since MC is just too short, they looked for ways to somehow make the word appear a little more convincing and real, hence the word emcee.
Shortening the word usually happens but finding a longer form of the word seems unnatural. And because of this, a lot of people are wondering why MC is sometimes spelled emcee. This goes the same as the word OK which can also be spelled okay. This is already becoming acceptable and is already used more often than the original word itself.
Today, you can find a lot of formal letters which spelled MC as emcee. Most young people actually use this word these days than the original spelling which is an acronym of Master of Ceremonies. So if ever you have encountered any of the two spellings, worry not as both of them are already considered acceptable in the English language.

The Major Reflexology Areas Found In The Foot
Reflexology was formally invented in the late 1800s by the Europeans. This is a specific type of massage that entails the application of pressure to a person’s feet or hands in order to affect a physical change to the body. Also known as zone therapy, this massage focuses on the placement of pressure based on a system of zones and reflex areas that correspond to other parts of the body.
Reflexology is considered a mixture of healing art and science is based on the premise that an energy channel encompassing 12 vital organs exists from our feet to the tops of our heads. A reflexologist applies pressure with his or her hands to unblock that channel and restore proper health and organ function.
Reflexology Areas In One’s Foot
There are five major reflexology areas on the soles of each foot. These are:
• The “head and neck”. This area encompasses all five toes. You will find points corresponding to the sinuses, eyes, ears, etc. in this area
• The “spine”. This part is located where your toes connect to the rest of your foot. It runs up the inside of each foot. According to experts, this is the most important reflexology zone since it acts as a highway for the communications between your brain and your nerves, bones, and muscles.
• The “chest area”. This region is found around the ball of the foot. This is usually the area that has a darker color than the middle of the foot. This area is associated with the lungs, shoulders, etc.
• The “waist line”. This part is located where your foot is widest. This section shows a relationship with the stomach, liver, intestines, etc.
• The “pelvic area”. This is found at the heel. It typically also has a darker color and this area corresponds to the legs and buttocks.
